Welcome to my site. I'm Raff, a software developer and former video games designer who likes mixing technology with creativity.

Stories have always been shaped by the tools we use to create them - from scraping on cave walls to the printing press, movies and billion-pixel video games. It has been quite a ride.

With the advent of AI large language models (LLMs) and image diffusion models, we now have tools that amplify what we can imagine and create.

This is my experimental playground for AI-assisted fiction. Expect short stories, illustrated tales and interactive branching adventures.

I will document my journey of attempting to combat AI slop and produce compelling narratives, beautiful imagery and fun times. I can't promise at this stage that any of this will work, but I hope with some persistence and ingenuity we'll get some good output. At the very least I'll learn more about AI and writing stories.

Some posts will be just for creative fun. Others will get into the technical weeds. I hope you enjoy them all.
